Love the Ice — Skate Smart, Skate Confident.

I don't teach skating elements — I teach why they work. When you understand the why, you own the information: you can self-assess when I'm not standing next to you, troubleshoot on your own, and trust yourself. Confidence doesn't come from being told you did it right. It comes from knowing why it was right, and being able to recreate it.

Skating is a marathon, not a sprint. There will be days everything clicks and days you want to hang up your skates for good — both are part of the process. We don't chase perfection. We chase better: better than yesterday, better than last week, better than who you were at the start of the season.

Negative self-talk isn't just discouraging — it's self-defeating. What you believe about yourself shapes what your body does on the ice, so we protect that mental environment: no spiraling, no giving up on yourself mid-session.

My job is to understand what you want and build a path toward it, not to impose my own idea of what you should be. Recreational skater who wants to feel confident and capable? That's a real goal, and we'll work toward it seriously. Competitor? Same rigor, different target.
